CRYPTO WORLD CUP QUALIFICATION STANDINGS

To mimic the FIFA World Cup, 211 coins will have a chance to qualify for 32 spots. These coins have been broken into 7 groups, along the lines of their functions. They are: Payment coins, stablecoins, smart contract platforms, ‘Fi tokens, Gaming, Computer, and Misc tokens. Each of these 7 groups has a different qualification method. Below are the standings and the road to qualification for each group:

Games are Twitter polls, @UltimateCrypto7. A win is worth 3 points. To win, a coin must garner 55+% of the vote. Anything between 45-55 is a tie, worth 1 point. A loss = 0.

PAYMENT COINS

Payment coins have been divided into four groups of six. Each group will play five games, round-robin format.

After the 5 games, the coin in each group with the most points will gain automatic entry to the CRYPTO WORLD CUP. The 2nd place coins from each group will have their own knockout tournament, the winner of which will gain the final spot for Payment coins in the CRYPTO WORLD CUP.

SMART CONTRACT PLATFORMS

Smart contract platforms have 66 coins broken into 11 groups of 6. Each group will play 5 round-robin games. After those games, the first-place coin gains automatic entry to the CRYPTO WORLD CUP.

The 11 2nd place coins from each group will be seeded according to their point total and have a knockout tournament for the final two spots.

'FI TOKENS

‘Fi tokens are all the DeFi, CeFi and exchange tokens, 4 groups of 10. Each group will play a round-robin schedule of 9 games.

After that, the top 3 coins from each group (12 total) will move on to a knockout match. The winner of that match will gain entry to the CRYPTO WORLD CUP. The loser is out.

COMPUTING TOKENS

Computing tokens have been broken into 4 groups of 8 coins. Each will play a round-robin schedule of 7 games.

The top 2 coins in each group will gain entry to the final group. Those 8 coins will play another round-robin schedule of 7 games, with the top 3 coins advancing to the CRYPTO WORLD CUP.

GAMING TOKENS

Gaming tokens have been broken into 2 groups of 9 coins. Round-robin play of 8 games, with the top 4 coins in each group gaining access to the final round.

The final round will be a knockout tournament where the top 2 coins will gain entry to the CRYPTO WORLD CUP.

STABLECOINS

Stablecoins are 2 groups of 7. Round-robin play, each playing 6 games. The top coins from the 2 groups will then have a playoff for the single stablecoins automatic bid to the CRYPTO WORLD CUP.

The winner gains entry while the loser of that playoff will have one more chance, against the 2nd place “Misc” token. The winner of that will gain entry to the CRYPTO WORLD CUP.

MISCELLANEOUS TOKENS

Miscellaneous coins have been broken into 2 groups of 8 coins. Like gaming tokens, after a round-robin schedule of 7 games, the top 4 coins will move on to the single-elimination final playoffs.

There, the top coin will advance to the CRYPTO WORLD CUP, while the 2nd place Misc token will play the 2nd place Stablecoin for the final spot of the CRYPTO WORLD CUP.
